Aid Worker Security Report 2012
Long-term historical trends show violence decreasing across the globe. In contrast, the number of attacks against aid workers shows an upward trend. This latest output by CIC's partner Humanitarian Outcomes, 2012 Annual Report on Aid Worker Security, probes the continued trend in rising insecurity for humanitarian workers and attributes it to the more frequent and sustained deployment of humanitarian actors to contexts of state fragility and collapse.
