Leah Zamore

Senior Policy Analyst

Leah Zamore is currently CIC’s Senior Policy Analyst. She covers a range of issues, including refugee policy, humanitarian response, and conflict prevention. Ms. Zamore comes to CIC most recently from Brasilia, where she worked as a special advisor to the government on refugee and humanitarian affairs. She also served as a visiting professor of international human rights law in São Paulo, and as a non-resident human rights fellow at Yale Law School. Before moving to Brazil, Ms. Zamore worked as a policy aide to the Deputy High Commissioner of the UN Refugee Agency in Geneva. In previous years, her human rights and humanitarian work has taken her to Ethiopia, France, India, northern Uganda, South Africa -- and now back to the United States. Leah holds a Juris Doctorate from Yale Law School, a Masters from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelors degree from Harvard University.
