Dr. Alexandra Novosseloff is a visiting scholar at the Brian Urquhart Center for Peace Operations at the International Peace Institute (IPI) in New York. From 2015-2017, she held a similar post at CIC. Dr. Novosseloff holds a PhD in political science from the University of Paris-Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2). Her area of expertise lies in the field of international organizations, the UN Security Council, peacekeeping, and the relationship between the United Nations and regional organizations. Dr Alexandra Novosseloff is also a research associate at the Centre Thucydide, a senior expert at the Peace and Security Section of the Global Governance Institute in Brussels. She is a member of the Francophone Research Network on Peace Operations of the University of Montreal (Canada). She has held research positions at the International Peace Academy in New York, at the UNESCO, and at the Institute for Security Studies of the Western European Union.
