Nate Edwards is a Program Associate at CIC with the Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies team where he primarily supports the Justice Team.
Prior to joining CIC full time, Nate was an intern with CIC’s Humanitarian Crises program where he supported work related to the humanitarian-development-peace nexus, migration and refugees, and financing for humanitarian and development efforts. He was also a contributing researcher and author on the UNDP-IOM Multi-Year Roadmap for Cooperation on Migration and Sustainable Development in Moldova. While at Columbia University, Nate completed a graduate consultancy with UN Habitat-Jordan in which he designed mechanisms to increase community participation in public-private-partnerships in Jordan. Nate comes to CIC with a background in nonprofit management consulting including strategic planning, business and program modeling, and impact evaluations.
Nate has a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton College.
